It’s funny that I had heard the phrase “any old Joe Bloggs” or “ordinary Joe Bloggs” usually followed by “sorry Joe, don’t take offence, not you” for about the last 30 years in various contexts. Most times I didn’t take offence but now I want to use the phrase Joe Blogs as the strapline of my blog…the name seems well used in the blogosphere, sometimes by people not even called Joe……..so all’s well that ends well.
